Choice of Master Teachers... Pichest

Study with Pichest, one of the most well-known masters of Thai massage in Thailand, will challenge students to go further into their way of working with clients.

Pichest emphasizes a deep therapeutic intention and skill in Thai massage work. With Pichest, students will learn how to truly relax their own bodies and minds to see more fully into the conditions of their clients.

Pichest’s way of working is unique and unlike that of any other teacher. Students will be encouraged to open themselves to a more complete approach to working with and on the body, beyond sequence and familiar techniques. You will find a lot of ritual, chanting and lecturing in his classroom.

Pichest is very Thai (meaning he doesn’t care about western expectations of what a Thai massage course should look like). His classroom is decidedly less structured than any I have found in Thailand. Students will find Pichest challenging, confusing, and at times, transcendent.

Students who study with Pichest will stay at Baan Thai and take a local bus the 45 minutes to Pichest’s house. You will be accompanied by one of us every day.
